The art and sport of Canine Freestyle is coming to
your neighborhood with an exciting 2-in-1 workshop with Canine Freestyle
Coach Judy Gamet. Fine tune your body language and flow of movement
with your dog as a team by practicing Canine Freestyle routines
              which enhance any dog sport!

              • The Introduction to Canine Freestyle workshop teaches you
basic content and vocabulary. Much like learning the signs in rally
obedience or the obstacles in agility, you need to understand the
content of the sport and develop your handling skills in order to
become proficient. This workshop takes you through a warm up routine,
stretches, three progressively harder freestyle routines, and a
cool down massage all set to music! Information about competition
is also included in this workshop. AT 12 NOON

The Next Step – Creating Your Routine is a workshop for experienced
handlers or those who have completed the Introduction to Canine
Freestyle. This workshop teaches you concepts of selecting music
for your dog, how to handle your dog to its best advantage, and
how to create movement phrases with music. This workshop takes a
deeper look into the competitive sport of canine freestyle. AT 3:00
              p.m.

Have you ever dreamed of having a consistent running
contact on the A-Frame that your friends will covet? Are you worried
about possible injuries to your dog’s shoulders, elbows and
neck caused by abruptly stopping at the bottom of the A-Frame? Or
maybe you are just sick and tired of your teammate performing incredible
feats of acrobatics to avoid the yellow contact zone. If so, perhaps
              it’s time for a change!!!!

Rachel Sanders will be sharing her fabulous technique of training
ANY dog to perform a consistent, safe and fast running A-Frame contact
in two separate foundation sessions held on the same day. There
will be 8 working slots in the morning session and 8 working slots
in the afternoon for a total of 16 working slots. There will be
unlimited auditing. Torrential rain will cancel the event. It will
be re-scheduled for Saturday, January 19, 2008, same times.

The seminar fee for each session is:
$60 for a working spot and
              $30 to audit.
(For SMART members only, fees are $50/$25).
